Are you craving cookies? When was the last time you baked? When have you EVER had to bake with one of the bakers at Cake Love? THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!! Kid Power is having a Valentine's Day bake sale on Sunday, Feb 13th in Gallery Place/Chinatown. As a volunteer for this event you will help bake the cookies (from 11am-2pm) and then sell them with the kids (from 2pm-4pm). And you can even SUPPORT Kid Power by buying some cookies for yourself. Meet at the Tenlyetown Metro at 10:30 am. Take the redline toward Glenmont and hope off at Gallery Pl-Chinatown. The church is ONE BLOCK from the metro station. (SO CLOSE!!). Make sure to dress warm for the cookie selling portion. And lunch is usually provided. If it isn't, chipotle, mc donalds, etc. is RIGHT THERE! This is a great opportunity to work with kids and satisfy your sweet tooth... AND make it back to campus in time for chapter!
