Made in response to the times we are living in, The Antidote weaves nine stories of everyday people intentionally leveraging the resources within themselves and their communities to lift others up and give them a chance at a better life. From a group in Anchorage, Alaska who work to ensure a warm welcome and smooth transition for foreign refugees, to an organization and small town working to empower and employ people with disabilities, these stories in chorus together remind us that even in difficult times, there is goodness out there and more importantly, that it is crucial. On October 20 and 21, VolunteerMatch will be hosting virtual screenings of the film, followed by an online conversation on October 22 where they will discuss what we can do to make connections and lift others up in our communities.
