From alumni brother Casey Gugoff: "I was wondering if Eta Phi would be interested in helping out one of my best friends and her family. On Thursday, there was some sort of explosion and their house caught on fire. Luckily, the only family member that was home at the time, Ryan, a veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq and a very close friend of mine, had just left the house to get a haircut. He had put the three dogs in the basement before he left, which was the only part of the house that was not completely destroyed. Katie Aulenbach has been my best friend since 3rd grade and her family is like my family. She is abroad right now in the Peace Corps in Senegal trying to help others, but has no way to help her family. I would really appreciate Eta Phi's help."
