do you like hiking, nature, and/or exploring? come hiking through this little strip of forest that starts just off campus! we'll meet at the entrance to the park at 10am - the park starts on Van Ness Street between Nebraska and Wisconsin, not far from McDonalds. we'll take a few hours to hike and explore - from end to end the park runs approx. 3 miles, so a full loop would probably take 2 1/2 hours. but it's up to us to decide how much to do and how long to take. :) I've allotted us plenty of time, so we'll all be able to get back for the pledge introduction event! dress appropriately (sturdy shoes are a MUST) and bring water and a packed lunch or snack!
