ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. Veterans suffer from ALS at a higher rate than the rest of the population, so we consider this an opportunity to address an important issue of veterans’ health. All proceeds go to the ALS Association, which helps those with ALS and their families cope with the disease.
I encourage you to join our team and walk with us! Our goal is to raise money to help those who suffer from this horrible disease.
Follow the link below to join our team and/or donate money to the cause! Thank you very much! As always, if you have any questions, please email me.
