Individuals and groups help plate and pass out meals, refill drinks, run the dishwasher, and clean while serving guests in SOME's Dining Room for the homeless and poor located at 71 'O' Street, NW. Opened as a small soup kitchen in 1970, SOME now provides 1,000 nourishing, hot breakfasts and lunches every day with help from nearly 10,000 volunteers a year, including our Provide-A-Meal groups.
