TDC Trip to Meskerem

Date: Nov 14, 2012 at 6:30pm to 9:00pm
Members of A Taste of DC voted, between three different Ethiopian restaurants, and Meskerem was the winner! We'll be going to this Adams Morgan favorite on Wednesday, November 14th. Ethiopian food is best eaten when shared, and the tables are not set with silverware. Instead, diners use their hands as utensils. Injera, a soft, spongy bread, makes up the foundation of the dish. By breaking off pieces of bread, diners easily scoop up bites of watt, spicy Ethiopian stews. Vegetarian dishes are also popular, so there's plenty of variety for eaters of all kinds! When dining at an Ethiopian restaurant, you not only share a meal but also an incredible experience. If you're curious, check out the menu here: http://meskeremethiopianrestaurantdc.com/menu.html. *We will meet at the North Side Shuttle Stop at 6:30 PM and take the metro to Adams Morgan.
