Responding to Genocide: History and Moving Forward

There will also be a panel discussion, which will focus on the broader international human rights regime, the available tools and levers of US foreign policy, and how to address the current cases of genocide throughout the world. Panelists include Sarah Gardiner, an investigative analyst for The Sentry, Enough Project; Christopher Preble, Vice President for Defense and Foreign Policy Studies at the Cato Institute; and Jeffrey Bachman, Director of the Ethics, Peace, and Human Rights program. Neil Saul, a graduate student of the United States Foreign Policy and National Security program, will moderate the discussion.
