Harvesting/Gleaning at Clagett Farm!

Date: Oct 20, 2012 at 7:15am to 2:00pm
Clagett Farm is a collaborative effort of the Capital Area Foodbank and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation which provides food to the Foodbank and to individuals in our city involved in a Community Supported Agriculture program. This service project is a “hands on” way for everyone to participate in helping feed hungry people in our community. Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes and other clothing suitable for working in a farm field. Work gloves can be helpful. Lunch is not provided, so you will need to bring a bag lunch, or we can coordinate and I can bring stuff for the whole group. We will be taking an AUTO van. EDIT: We will be taking an AUTO van and if more people want to show up, I can drive my car as well!
