After The American Dream looks at the lives of four immigrants who attempt to cross the U.S.-Mexico to seek a better life in the United States. These are people, not statistics, who are risking everything to create a better life for themselves and future generations. Departing on a journey is never easy, especially when it means leaving behind your friends, your family, and your home and crossing one or more borders to finally reach America, the land of opportunity. Join us for a screening of After The American Dream at American University, followed by a panel discussion. Admission is free for the American University community. Please bring your AUID. Refreshments will be served. Learn more about the film here: https://www.aftertheamericandream.com/
