City Blossoms is a nonprofit dedicated to fostering healthy communities by developing creative, kid-driven green spaces and innovative resources. The service project consists of cleaning-up and weeding the school’s current garden as well as planting bulbs for the spring. It’s usually a low-key/family friendly event, since this garden is fairly established within the school community. 30 minutes of travel time is included both ways. The event runs 10am-1pm.
