Join AU Students Against Human Trafficking for the screening of the movie Dreamcatcher. Dreamcatcher follows a survivor, Brenda Myers-Powell. Brenda is a former teen prostitute who worked the streets of Chicago. She defied all odds and is now a powerful advocate helping other sex workers in the community. The screening will be followed by a discussion about decriminalization of commercial sex in the District. We will also have a brief info session about opportunities to get involved with organizations in DC that work with sex workers and survivors of trafficking. There will be snacks! RSVP to the facebook event (so that we know how much food to get!) --> https://www.facebook.com/events/125763428076074/?acontext=%7B%22ref%22%3A%224%22%2C%22feed_story_type%22%3A%22308%22%2C%22action_history%22%3A%22null%22%7D
