Runnin' for a Chance is a beautiful course on AU's campus that is perfect for runners/walkers of all ages and fitness levels. It will have music, food, drinks and t-shirts for all participants, and all proceeds go directly to Fair Chance-a nonprofit that works to strengthen the sustainability of other nonprofits that help change the lives of youth living in poverty. Your mission as the registration/packet pick up table is to check in participants, give them the race # and safety pins, and make sure day-of registrants fill out all paperwork needed. Please note: Many of these can overlap or people can do two activities, so if those who set up the race can be a crossing guard or hand out shirts and water at the end of the race, for example. Oh, and each volunteer will receive a race t-shirt, race backpack, and any goodies that are handed out at the post-race!
