Runnin' for a Chance 5k Run/Walk Water Station Distributors

Date: Apr 15, 2012 at 8:15am to 10:15pm
Runnin' for a Chance is a beautiful course on AU's campus that is perfect for runners/walkers of all ages and fitness levels. It will have music, food, drinks and t-shirts for all participants, and all proceeds go directly to Fair Chance-a nonprofit that works to strengthen the sustainability of other nonprofits that help change the lives of youth living in poverty. Your mission as water distributors is to get water containers from Mary Graydon, fill up cups for the race, and distribute them to the runners/walkers. Simple, right? Please note: Many of these can overlap or people can do two activities, so if those who set up the race can be a crossing guard or hand out shirts and water at the end of the race, for example. Oh, and each volunteer will receive a race t-shirt, race backpack, and any goodies that are handed out at the post-race! If you are looking for an Awesome project for an even more Awesome cause, then sign up now! :)
