Write a letter to an INCREDIBLE kid that you know! It's as simple as it sounds. Just take a couple minutes to sit down and tell a kid how awesome s/he is! Think back to when you were younger. Did you ever feel like adults didn't respect you or tell you how much you meant to them? Too often, we adults (yes, we count among that group now- sometimes...) forget to show the kids in their life that they care and are there to listen or talk. Why does this really matter? Children need positive reinforcement in their lives. The right words of encouragement can come at just the time a child needs them most – helping the child make better decisions, build self-esteem, and even be more compassionate and successful. All you have to do is think of all the kids in your life: younger siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, neighbors, or kids that you babysit for. Write them a letter and send it to them by March 15th. Send me a picture of all the envelopes you have signed, sealed, and [ready to be] delivered.
