For those of you that don't know the drill with A Wider Circle, they're an absolutely incredible organization that works to address both the short-term and long-term needs of families in our area living in poverty. We'll likely be working in the warehouse, and will be wherever they need us-- some common projects are sorting clothes, helping to load up trucks, and organizing household items. A Wider Circle is one of my favorite organizations, and Bridget Smith, our non-APO friend (those exist! Weird, right?), and I were planning to head out Saturday 3/10 to volunteer from 11-4. We have two spots left in the car so that's why the project limit is at 4; if you have a car and want to come, PLEASE let me know and we can open the project up to more people! Meet in the LA Quad at 10:30am. Don't be late because we'll leave you... for reals.
