We have a fun project for Veterans Day. This will be well rounded to include getting dirty, having fun, and getting to know the Congress Park residents better. Mission: Plant new flowers in the butterfly garden in the middle of the courtyard. Additionally, the new playground has newly build flower pots that we shall beautify. Paint We will paint areas needing finishing touches i.e. tables, flower bed. Fun To make things more interesting a few volunteers will have drill and ceremony 101 teaching basic marching techniques. This will be a spark to teach responsibility and the importance of doing one's part. A great hand off idea to someone in the community that can grab the reigns on it an steer for greatness.
