Volunteer with Community Council for the Homeless Friendship Place in Tenleytown! They help the homeless population of our area rebuild their lives through involvement in the own community and the services CCHFP provides. CCHFP is looking for volunteers to come help serve lunch, clean up, and play board games with their consumers! If you want a close, interactive service project, this is the one for you! Directions: Take the shuttle to the metro. Walk down Wisconsin Ave toward Friendship. CCHFP is on the right, across from Steak and Egg. This building is hard to recognize. On the outside it looks like a normal house.
