We Are Family is an outreach and advocacy network started by seniors and their friends. They don’t wait for problems to come to us; they go out into the North Capitol, Columbia Heights, Petworth, Shaw, and Adams-Morgan areas to visit the elderly in their own homes. You will be sent out in groups to visit local seniors! Put a smile on your face and brighten someone's day! Directions: Take the red line to Chinatown or Mt. Vernon Square. Walking from Chinatown: Head north on 7th street toward H St. Turn right onto NY Ave. Turn left on 5th Street. Church is on the right. (It's a 0.6 mile walk, but it's cheaper and faster than transfering!) Walking from Mt. Vernon Sq: Walk west on M St toward 6th St. Turn left on 5th St. Church is on the right.
