Job Descriptions: Taste of DC Entrance Team You'll be the first contact our guests have with the event, so this is a great volunteer role for people who like to interact with others! Volunteers at this shift will be greeting attendees, scanning pre-purchased ticket vouchers, helping with new ticket sales, as well as answering attendee questions about the event. This is a great location for teams, groups, and those under 21. Staff/Sponsor/Media Entrance Team You'll be helping event sponsors, food booth staff, and credentialed media gain access to the event, and then helping them find where they need to go in the venue. This is a great role for those who are looking to get some exercise, because there will be some walking involved when escorting food booth staff to their location. This is a great location for teams, groups, and those under 21. Admission Gates Volunteers at the Admission Gates will help welcome attendees and collect their admission tickets so they can enjoy the event! Volunteers age 15 and above are welcome at the Admission Gates; this position will be standing. Beverage Ticket and Merchandise Tent Do you have a background in retail or enjoy selling? This volunteer role will be helping attendees purchase Taste of DC merchandise, as well as admission or beverage tickets. This position is good for small groups, and those under 21.
