White House Fall Garden Tours (Afternoon Shift) |
| Date: Oct 9, 2016 at 12:00pm to 5:00pm | |
Each fall, the White House opens the South Lawn to the public for self-guided Fall Garden Tours. This year's tours will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 8-9.
President's Park is seeking volunteers to help with the event-assisting with crowd management, providing directions, and answering visitor questions.
White House Fall Garden Tours are a great volunteer opportunity for individuals, families, teens, adults, and groups. All positions require a large amount of standing and walking. Volunteers should be comfortable working outdoors, including in rain, heat, or cold.
Two volunteer shifts are available: a morning shift (8:00 am to 12:30 pm) and an afternoon shift (12:00 pm to 5:00 pm).
Please carefully review this form, complete and submit it by September 23, 2016.
Each person must submit a separate application.
