Sibley Memorial Hospital has been taking donations of heart-shaped pillows for the past couple of years. These heart-shaped pillows are then given to breast cancer patients immediately following their mastectomies. The pillows have many benefits for post-mastectomy recovery, including relieving tension, pain, and swelling from the surgical incision.
