Individuals and groups help serve meals to our hungry guests at SOME's Dining Room for the Homeless located at 71 'O' Street, NW. Opened as a small soup kitchen in 1970, with the help of volunteers SOME now provides 1,000 nourishing, hot breakfast and lunch every day of the year. Volunteers help us serve lunch from 10:30am until 1:15pm. The dining room can accommodate individuals or groups of up to 15 people. Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age.
