Give tours to LGBTQ families with Family Equality Council |
| Date: Mar 26, 2016 at 12:00pm to 6:00pm | |
Family Equality is looking for volunteers to help give mini tours around the Capitol Building and Supreme Court. Volunteers have the flexibility to create their own “tour route” and the information they wish to tell the LGBTQ families. If giving a tour isn’t your style, Family Equality Council needs volunteers to help make sure no families get lost during their free time. So, you would help ensure that families do not get too lost from the group. And if they do, you will help them get to the Whole Foods near the GW/Foggy Bottom metro stop by 5 pm. If none this sounds appealing….there is more ;) Family Equality Council also challenged us to create our own scavenger hunt that participating families can take part of. So, to clarify, for this project you have 3 options.
Option 1: Help give mini tours (that you create)
Option 2: Help monitor families and make sure they make it to the GW/Foggy Bottom metro stop by 5 pm
Option 3: Create a scavenger hunt for families to partake in.
**Please put in the comments section, which “option” you are picking. I need to let our contact at Family Equality Council know how many volunteers she will be working with per option.**
