Come help Family Equality and The DC Center host a Dance Party for LGBTQ families in the DMV area! Family Equality Council is a national nonprofit that connects, supports, and represents the three million parents who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer in this country and their six million children. The organization is a community of parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren that reaches across this country. For 30 years Family Equality Council has raised their children and raised their voices toward fairness for all families. Volunteers will help with: setting up, greeting families, encouraging participants to dance, help “occupy” some of the younger children, and help with cleanup.
