Workshop Runner Shift Two for Rooting DC

Date: Feb 27, 2016 at 1:00pm to 4:30pm
DC Greens is an organization that uses existing infrastructure, resources and talent and collaborating with people throughout the district to build a healthy food system that can be a model for the nation,. On February 27th, They are hosting Rooting DC, an annual urban agriculture conference where over 1200 individuals and nonprofits looking for ways to grow a healthier food system come together and attend workshops. For this project, volunteers will be helping presenters of various seminars by communicating with the presenter, setting up and breaking down, handing out materials and other miscellanous tasks to make sure everything runs smoothly. Since this project is in Tenley town, I included 15 minutes for travel on the front end of the project. You need to be there at 1:15 pm. In order to volunteer, you NEED to sign up here: https://www.volunteersignup.org/A9TYT
