Come out with APO and help some lovely dogs find their "forever homes"! Volunteers will be assigned a dog to handle and show off at the adoption event, and tell interested potential adopters about their dogs! The event is from 12-2pm, but volunteers must be at the event from 11:15--2:15 for orientation. The time includes travel time assuming you walk from AU to the metro, but from Tenleytown it should just take about half an hour. Take the metro to Rockville and walk about a half mile to the Petco. New volunteers will be asked to sign a waiver at the event. Note that sign ups close on February 18th! The organization needs names in advance, so you won't be able to find a replacement if you can't go.
