Hey guys I know it says this is a 9 hour fellowship but u can come and go whenever you have time, there will be groups leaving from AU all day. Just make sure u message me whenever you're at the action so you get the fellowship hour! Facebook event --> https://www.facebook.com/events/485446438247177/ "Across the nation and on our campus, our leaders are failing to take meaningful action on the issues impacting our lives. On fossil fuels, racist police tactics, mass incarceration, detention, and deportation, they’ve decided to uphold systemic injustice against our communities. Our generation demands better, and now is the time to take a stand. On November 9th, AU students will join youth from across the country in taking bold action for a just society and economy that works for all people. As one united force, our voices will echo across the nation’s capital to demand justice on race, climate, and immigration. Commit to mobilize alongside The Darkening, Fossil Free AU, and others as we take to the streets and fight for a new vision for our common future. RSVP here: http://ourgenerationourchoice.org/ If you want to travel alongside the AU group, we will be assembling at the North Side Shuttle stop at 8am. There will also be smaller groups of students departing campus at 10:15am, 11:45am, and 1:20pm. Supported by: The Darkening, Fossil Free AU, League of United Latin American Citizens, AU Black Student Alliance, AU Eco-Sense, The Community Action & Social Justice Coalition, Student Worker Alliance, AU NAACP, AU Students Advocating for Native Communities, and more. If your organization would like to be added in support, please email fossilfreeau@gmail.com"
