Parks and People is once again looking for volunteers to help them with their annual Christmas tree lighting! Volunteers are needed mainly to serve as ushers, provide directions, scan tickets and assist with crowd control. There will be musical performances, President Obama talking and overall holiday fun times! You can select which one you want to attend on the application (I will post projects for each so you will get hours for them!) You also need to of course sign up here! I have included travel time on either end of this project. In order to get to the White House you have to take the red line to Farragut North and its about a ten minute walk from there. I know this is a long day but it'll be such a cool experience!
