Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a volunteer run animal rescue that saves homeless and abandoned dogs and cats from certain euthanasia. With no boarding facility or shelter of their own, Lucky Dog holds events across the District, Maryland and Virginia. Lucky Dog seeks not only to place dogs in loving homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership. Volunteers will be helping with their dog adoption by handling dogs and talking to potential adopters. We request that at least one person with a vehicle please sign up for this project to help cut down on travel time. It would also be okay if someone were to rent a zipcar for this project. (Compensation would be provided.) Make sure to wear your letters and take lots of pictures!
