Greater DC Ronald McDonald House Help With Chores! |
| Date: Nov 4, 2015 at 9:00am to 1:00pm | |
The Greater DC Ronald McDonald House is a “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost. The House works to ease the hardship of children’s illness on families through programs that help children heal faster, cope better, and stay healthy.
The Ronald McDonald House is looking for help doing basic household chores, including cleaning the kitchen, the playrooms, the living room and the dining rooms for families staying at the House.
In order to get to the House, you will take the Red Line toward Glenmont and get off at the Brookland/CUA stop. The house is about a half a mile away from there. The commute is about a half hour but I have given you an hour each way just in case. | |
