A Wider Circle works to end poverty for one individual and one family after another. They work in partnership with those they serve and with those seeking to help to ensure that every child and adult has the chance to succeed and the opportunity to live well. A Wider Circle is seeking volunteers to help with their Neighbor to Neighbor Program. Volunteers will be helping stock and organize the items that are received at the Center for Community Service to make sure is in "dignity condition," assisting families and individuals in selecting items and helping load items into trucks. In order to get to the project, you take the red line from Tenleytown to the White Flint Metro Station then catch bus 5 to Seminary Road and Warren St. stop. If it is easier, you can uber from the White Flint Metro Station (just make sure to forward the receipt to Michelle for reimbursement). The total commute is about 49 minutes, thinking the bus will be on time. I have give you an extra hour of travel time as such.
