The Park Service is looking for volunteers to help with their annual Fall Garden tours on the South Lawn of the White House!
During this event, we will be helping with:
1. Roving ticket distribution: Distribute event tickets to people around the White House and surrounding areas; helping visitors cross street safely.
2. Line management: Volunteers assist with maintaining orderly lines and dividing lines by ticketed entry time. You must be comfortable giving directions and working with large crowds for this position.
3. Inside and outside volunteer center: Giving visitors information about the new visitor center.Helping visitors with questions about sites to see in the Washington D.C. area
You must have signed up by October 12th to be able to volunteer (https://docs.google.com/a/student.american.edu/forms/d/17J6fGSepugexEnhdBnvDH4vnNZyW1aKILb6Xb4FNl98/viewform?c=0&w=1&usp=send_form). Only sign up here if you have signed up!
More specific details will be sent out by the organization on October 15th at the latest and I will be sure to disseminate that information for all who sign up!
