Our lovely scouting advisor Howie brought this opportunity to my attention. The Washington, D.C. District Fall Camporee is an event to which all Scouts of the nation's capital are invited. Boy Scouts of America is looking for volunteers to work the various activity stations that the organization will have set up for either Cub scouts (ages 6-11) or Boy Scout (11-17) but we will be working directly with the scouts throughout the day. The location of the park is a 50 minute to 1 hour drive from American University (travel time included in the time above) so if you have a car please sign up! For this shift you would need to be at the location BY 12:15 pm. Please wear your letters and comfortable shoes.
