At the career fair/job& internship fair there will be more than 400 people attending in bender arena. We are trying to have a close to zero waste event and educate the students and vendors on how to sort waste correctly on campus. Student volunteers would be stationed by the zero waste stations and help people separate their waste properly. They would also answer any questions about zero waste and sustainability on campus. You guys can also promote your chapter as well. E.g. Common mistakes to help attendees Napkins going to trash or paper (should go in compost) Coffee cups - lids need to go to plastic, paper cups into organic bin Aluminum cans - green metal/plastic/glass recycling bin Plastic coffee stirrers - need to go to black landfill bin Paper flyers - need to go to paper bin (lots of people put it in landfill) Plastic Film/Wrap/Bags - need to go to trash (landfill bin)
