*Travel time is included, meaning you should leave around 6 am. The closest station to the project is Union Station!* United Way NCA will present Project Homeless Connect, a one-day resource fair. This special event will provide on-site medical and dental care, and access to housing, employment and other vital services to people in our community who are experiencing homelessness. Each participant will be matched with a volunteer guide who will assist the participant in navigating the event and the available services. In one day, participants will be able to receive services that might normally take several months, appointments or referrals to access. This will be the first Project Homeless Connect event in the District of Columbia. The program model was launched in San Francisco in 2004, and has been replicated in nearly 300 cities.
