Want to help with the AIDS walk but don't feel like walking, or can't stay for the whole walk? Well, you can still volunteer! The Metro starts working at 7, so you are going to want to catch the first one to Metro Station. You could still be a bit late, but that is probably your best bet. The shift officially starts at 7:30. The volunteer tent is located on the north side of Freedom Plaza (the end closest to 13th Street). Check-in there and you’ll be directed to your assignment. Note: If you would like to do this shift and leave early to participate in the walk, you may. Just let them (and me) know, so you can be taken care of appropriately.
