Here is the email from Nycole who reached out to APO requesting help for the festival: Hey there APO, It's Nycole from the 17th Street Festival. I know you have just gotten back to campus and started school for the year, but I wanted to reach out regarding APO joining us for the 17th Street Festival again this year. We LOVE having APO lend a hand, and hope you can help again this year. Below is the info. What: 6th Annual 17th Street Festival When: Saturday, September 12th 2015, 12-6PM (shifts 9:30a-2:30p & 2:30p-7:30p) Where: The 17th Street Corridor from Riggs Place to P Street, NW Who: Over 10,000+ participants, spectators, and volunteers Why: The 17th Street Festival is organized by Historic Dupont Circle Main Streets, a 501(c)(3) non-profit established in 2003 that focuses on promoting, retaining and attracting small and independent businesses to the Dupont Circle neighborhood in Northwest Washington, DC. We create exciting events, promotions, advertising campaigns and major public space improvements that make Dupont Circle an international destination. Let me know if APO can help out, we'll work on exact number and T-shirt sizes as the event gets closer. I (hopefully) look forward to seeing you all again. Thanks in advance. Nycole ---------- Information will be passed onto Nycole (via the community chair) regarding the number of APO volunteers as people sign up.
