Kenilworth is back folks and its one of their biggest projects of the year so they are looking for as much help as they can get! We will be assisting with the removal of lotus from from the park's ponds as well as various other park improvement projects. For a refresher: 1. This restoration project will begin at 9 a.m. with on-site registration opening 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. 2. Please arrive no later than 8:45 am (for us a bit earlier because some of the people who have never gone to Kenilworth may need to fill out registration forms!) 3. The event will run rain or shine—please dress accordingly. 4. All volunteers are encouraged to wear long-sleeve shirts and jackets, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. 5. Gloves and all equipment will be provided for you. 6. Granola bars and a light lunch will be provided. Please bring a water bottle. In order to get to Kenilworth: 1. Get on the red line at Tenley heading toward Glenmont 2. Transfer to the orange line at Metro Center heading toward New Carrolton It's about a mile walk from there!
