For the last 23 years, Fannie Mae has sponsored the Help the Homeless Program. Since then“…it has become the nation’s largest fundraising collaboration focused on homelessness” (Fannie Mae Website). Every year Martha’s Table is one of the beneficiaries of this program. Our role in this collaboration is to recruit our volunteers, partners, friends, families and coworkers to register to walk for Martha’s Table. Last year, Martha’s Table recruited 2,600 walkers to walk for Martha’s Table and this year our goal is 3000! If we recruit 3000 walkers we will receive a $50,000 grant from Fannie Mae. The only way we can reach that goal is with your participation! To register you need to: Visit www.helpthehomelessdc.org Go to "Get Involved" Click on "Register to Walk" Click on "Search for a Team" Type in "Catholic University Women's Law Center" Then Register! It is $20 for people 25 and under and $30 for people over the age of 25. Come out and join us!
