The DC Funk Parade is more than the subject of my capstone - they're a 100% grass roots effort to showcase the resilience and creativity of DC. Musicians, craftsmen, small business owners, literally so many other people also come together for a huge celebration of local music and culture. Help them make the dream come to life this year by donating $5 to their indiegogo campaign! Check out their website here for more info: http://funkparade.com/ and don't forget to get funky on may 2nd!!! just send me an email when you donate :)
