Age-In-Place® provides free house cleaning and yard work service year round to older adults living in wards 4, 5, and 6 in Washington, DC. In terms of service, the group should come prepared to work on a project involving the following: Yard work (weather permitting) - lawn mowing, hedge trimming, raking leaves, and making sure that there are clear pathways from the door to the sidewalk. House cleaning - making sure food preparation areas are clean, that bathrooms are tidy, and that the client has clear walkways from room to room.
