Featuring "On A Sensual Note," "Treble in Paradise," and "Dime A Dozen." Join the Oxfam Club at American University for a night of A Capella music. The A Capella Oxfam Jam unites music lovers around a shared goal: to raise money to fight poverty around the world. Local Music. Global Impact. Oxfam America is a global organization working to right the wrongs of poverty, hunger, and injustice. As one of 17 members of the international Oxfam confederation, we work with people in more than 90 countries to create lasting solutions. Together, we aim to raise $100 to support women's entrepreneurship through starting a village savings group. Led by local women, the group provides a safe place to save and lend where banks are few and far between. Members can use their loans to launch or grow small businesses—and when women prosper, their entire families benefit. You can donate directly to this cause, and empower women, in several ways; we accept cash, check, credit card, and Eaglebucks. $5 = 1 fundraising hour
