Kenilworth is looking for volunteers to pick up trash, work on trails, and remove invasive English ivy and honeysuckle from various places within the gardens. Registration begins at 9:30 am and the actual clean up begins at 10:00am. Kenilworth advises that we do not arrive any later than 9:45 am. Kenilworth can be reached via the Deanwood Metro Station. It's about a 10 minute walk from that metro stop to Kenilworth. So, since this is a weekend and we all know how the red line functions on the weekend, I have included travel time into the event time. Make sure you dress in layers, since it might be cold or you might warm up working on the trails. Comfortable sneakers are also advised.
