A really awesome event! All should attend if you are able! "This event pays homage to the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s by bringing back the “Teach-In.” This Teach-In will provide opportunities to discuss institutional racism and how the current reactions to events in Ferguson and New York around the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner fit into the Civil Rights Movement overall. The event will include speakers, workshops, and panels that will provide a holistic educational experience. Lunch will be provided." Check in outside of the Tavern at 9:30, event starts at 10:00am.
