Epsilon Xi | Responsible Conduct of Research Seminar Series |
Date: Apr 10, 2024 at 3:00pm to 4:03pm | |
The responsible and ethical conduct of research is critical for excellence, as well as public trust. The responsible and ethical conduct of research involves not only a responsibility to generate and disseminate knowledge with rigor and integrity, but also a responsibility to:
a. conduct peer review with the highest ethical standards;
b. diligently protect proprietary information and intellectual property from inappropriate disclosure; and
c. treat students and colleagues fairly and with respect.
In line with these principles, and existing and emerging federal requirements, the CSU Research Integrity Office is providing 1-hour RCR discussions each month. Researchers (at the faculty/research associate level) can earn an RCR certificate after attending 8 sessions.
Please fill out the Chapter-Sanctioned Leadership Credit Form within 1 week OR send a photo and two things you learned at the event to leadership@apo-epsilonxi.org for credit.
