The Beta Iota chapter of Alpha Phi Omega is hosting a collaborated event with Blood Initiative at NYU to raise awareness about the importance of donating blood. There will be members going in depth about this topic as well as representative speakers discussing their experience(s) as a donor. They've also organized a Jeopardy activity so that we can have a friendly competition! I highly encourage members to attend this event so that we can acquaint ourselves with them and potentially collab with them in the future :) For attending this event, you will be granted 1 hour of service. You can earn another .5 service hour if you write a short paragraph on some of the takeaways from this event and include the names of the speakers.
