This event continues into GBM. If you decide to go, you must send me and James a video of the announcers starting and ending so you can be excused. Walk A Mile is an annual community event to come together against sexual violence. There is no cost to participate, but you can sign up to fundraise for Crisis Services at http://crisisservices.org. All proceeds benefit the Crisis Services Advocate Program. Crisis Service’s Advocate Program is our community’s New York State Department of Health-designated Rape Crisis Center and a New York State Approved Non-Residential Domestic Violence Service Provider. Walk a Mile is more than a march; it’s is a celebration of our community coming together to take a stand against violence.
