UBReUSE is a student run waste diversion program within the University at Buffalo. Volunteers will assist in the process of collecting reusable materials at the time of move-out. These items may include; Appliance, Bath, Clothing, Donations, Electronics, Home and Decor, Kitchen, School Supplies, etc. Tasks include collecting materials from residence hall common areas, weighing and sorting of the materials, and then storing for the Fall UBReUSE yard sale. New volunteers will be asked to attend one of the two volunteer orientation sessions to better understand the operation of UB's move-out waste diversion operation.
