Each year, an ever-increasing number of men, women and their families are joining Walk a Mile. : The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence. Walk a Mile is a fun opportunity for the community to take a stand, raise awareness, and rally the community to take action to prevent sexualized violence. The event kicks off and ends at Harriman Hall on UB's South Campus. The route takes supporters down around UB's South Campus, to Main St and back again. The Closing Celebration will feature activities, prizes and more. All proceeds go to support the Advocate Program at Crisis Services, which provides confidential response & support services for survivors of rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, family violence, and elder abuse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. REMINDER: GBM IS AT 1PM! If you decide to stay at the event for entire time, it will be your responsibility to make it back in time OR take the penalty.
